We had heard about Jessica and all she was doing with technology at Saint Mary’s, a school that in many ways is similar to ours.  We called her in hopes of gaining some insights into how to best integrate technology into our curriculum, at a school where our faculty are stars – they know students and they know how to teach, and we wanted the faculty and students to have all the tools needed to develop.  Jessica answered our call, and immediately invited us to come to her school and see how SMS’s technology platform augmented holistic student development.

Jessica’s graciousness, knowledge, wisdom, quirky sense of humor, and sincere interest in the greater educational community doing all we can to share what is working resulted in two very productive, fun, and interesting visits.  We learned from her, and she’s a natural teacher.  Furthermore, she has continually been a phone call or email away, fun to talk with and an absolute wealth of information.

Jessica has great ideas and is a great listener.  She quickly understood our educational environment and tailored her recommendations accordingly.  Her “can do” demeanor and enthusiasm are contagious, and she is a wonderful person and has become a treasured friend of our school.

Jessica and her team were very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable as we began the initial stage of implementing 1 – 1 technology at First Presbyterian Day School in Macon, Georgia. The visits to the classrooms demonstrated what great teaching and engaged learning can accomplish when the instructional staff has been properly trained and held to a high standard.  I believe this is a  result of the  leadership that Jessica and her support staff provide. I would highly recommend that any school considering this initiative allow Jessica the opportunity to show you  what can be accomplished by proper planning, implementation and ongoing review of the program.  It was a great joy to meet Jessica and work with her school.
